Healing and relaxation by tradition

Ayurveda is the oldest traditional medicine of mankind. Already 3000 years ago it had university character. There were already independent specialties such as internal medicine, surgery, gynecology or pediatrics. In an ingenious way, theory and practice were linked, rational thinking and spiritual development were not opposites, but complemented each other.

Ayurveda sees the human being as a unity of body, mind and soul, which is in constant interaction with the environment.

The human body is in constant inner movement and renewal. In its 100 trillion cells, a quadrillion chemical reactions take place every second – an almost unimaginable number with 31 zeros.

In the same second, several million cells are also broken down and replaced by newly formed cells. And despite the many stresses and strains that endanger this inner balance on a daily basis, the human organism is able to maintain its health and performance largely independently over decades.

Our Center

Our doctors and therapists are leading organs of today’s Ayurveda medicine and have been practicing this traditional medicine for several generations.

The ayurvedic pulse diagnosis as well as the holistic therapy of chronic diseases are the focus of most treatment methods. These are always performed in silence, which leads to a state of deep relaxation for body and soul.

Our center offers various classical wellness treatments, individual Ayurvedic treatments, holistic treatments over several days and specially designed Ayurvedic cures according to the Panchakarma principle.

The Panchakarma Principle

Panchakarma is a system of precisely coordinated physical treatments. This therapy, which has been tried and tested for thousands of years, works specifically to detoxify the organism gently and at the same time permanently.

This is possible because the individual steps of Panchakarma rid the organism of toxins in a very systematic way. The therapeutic sequence consists of three steps:

1) Release of toxins

As a prelude to the treatment sequence, environmental toxins deposited in the body and the body’s own metabolic toxins are dissolved – almost always with fat-soluble substances. There are a large number of different, extremely pleasant oil massages and diets that serve this purpose. In this way, toxins that bind only to fats and are normally extremely difficult to remove from the cells can also be released again. Getting toxins out of the organism is the most important goal of Panchakarma.

2) Transport towards the intestine

Subsequently, the basal metabolic rate of the body is increased by a targeted metabolic activation. During this treatment phase, the patient enjoys medicinal herbal steam baths, heat packs and compresses or gentle massages with healing substances.

Full body oil castings also belong to this category. These measures channel the previously dissolved pollutants with the blood stream towards the intestine.

3) Elimination

The substances dissolved in the first two stages and transported to the intestine are systematically eliminated from the body through enemas or forced removal.

This ensures that cleansing and detoxification of the body are really completed and mobilized pollutants do not migrate back into the cells.

4) Panchakarma treatments

Treatments are individually composed by the Ayurvedic doctor after a thorough diagnosis according to the clinical picture or pattern of disorders.

Thus, the individual constitutional type of the three doshas and the general constitution of the patient is taken into account. The overriding principle in all forms of Ayurveda application is their harmlessness: the doctor recognizes which measures promote the patient’s balance without overtaxing the self-regeneration forces.

The gentle, profound treatments of the Panchakarma system are indicated for almost all diseases. Once the organism has been cleansed, all other forms of therapy also work better. The self-healing powers are then clearly activated and the organism can recover even faster with the help of Ayurveda herbal preparations.

In addition, Panchakarma also has a preventive character: carried out regularly, this general overhaul ensures that the body’s own waste products cannot accumulate in the first place, thus removing the basis for future diseases from the outset. The result is a health and resistance of the body far beyond the normal measure, which lets the whole person stay young longer.

Likewise, the Panchakarma cure creates a mental balance that supports optimism, self-confidence and healthy joy of life in all situations of life.
