WELCOME TO PARADISE
In the southwest, the Ypsylon Resort is located in the Island Sri Lanka, surrounded by fantastically sumptuous vegetation. The idyllic convenient and extensive plant is directly situated at the kilometres long fine sandy beach at the beginning of the tourist place Bentota. Nestled in a sheltered bay with an island in front, bathing and swimming during the tides is safe all times. Distributed on several two story houses altogether 30 rooms with direct sea view are available to the guests, including a Diving School, Ayurveda Center with own Restaurant & Eco Chalets, a la carte Restaurant serving national and international meals, private beach, a ship fleet, surrounded by exotic green, a calm and convenient pool and a beach volleyball place. The Ypsylon Resort is an exempt private company led under German line since 1980 managed by the original founder. The flat held building inserts itself perfectly into the surrounding landscape and stands in agreement with the nature.
Rooms and ECO Chalets
In our extensive plant, altogether 27 rooms are available on two floors all with direct or partial sea view from an own furnished large terrace. In the tropical backyard, our 3 Eco Chalets were built around the pool and are exclusively available only for our Ayurvedic guests.
AYURVEDA/SPA
Ayurveda is the oldest delivered medicine of mankind.
Already before 3000 years it had an university character
with independent existing fields of internal
medicine, surgery, gynaecology or child medicine.
DINING
Ranging from local Sinhalese cuisine, seafood specialties to a selection of international cuisine traditional German dishes, are offered daily as a changing variety of cuisine delicacies.
DAY TRIPS & TOURS
We conduct day & extended multi day trips with our own fleet of vehicles providing English-speaking drivers in order to explore numerous places of your interest. One can conduct their own individual journey & discuss the desired route with our guide we are glad to provide a few hints on how to spend your valuable holidays in Sri Lanka.
SCUBA DIVING
The Indian Ocean offers different species of rich fish, with temperatures of about 29 degrees it is popular among his bathers. Directly in front of our doorstep one arrives cosy at the fine sandy beach in front of the sea. This is where the diving paradise begins.
